Dear colleagues,

On Thursday, *December 12th* *2024 *we are organizing the 6th /Jornades 
de Lingüística Catalana a Viena/ with the topic *"Pronoun in Catalan and 
beyond"* at the University of Vienna.

We are very pleased that the following invited speakers will give talks 
at this years workshop:

- Gemma Barberà (Universitat Pompeu Fabra): "Indefinite pronouns in 
Catalan Sign Language (LSC): Layering manual, non-manual and spatial 
components to convey meaning"

- Marc-Olivier Hinzelin (Universität Hamburg): "Neuter pronouns in 
Catalan: Discourse reference, expletives, and beyond"

- Neus Nogué (Universitat de Barcelona): "The pragmatics of first-person 
plural in Catalan"
