After a bit of testing, it looks like the running summary appears
after "Done", but not "Skipped" or "Failed". Sometimes a failed
installation attempt can take some time. Would it be profitable to see
a summary after these outcomes? Or would this harm visibility for the
reason or error given?

David, I think you can already see this on the first line emitted for
each patch -- it resembles "pca list" output. The legend is only
printed for the first patch, but I don't mind going back a few lines
from the summary. Would that work for you, or are you perhaps filtering
out only the running summary lines?
