I had read that on a recent thread on alt.solaris.x86, but obviously
this was about the "old" OpenSolaris and not the new one. As Andrew
Gabriel wrote in comp.unix.solaris:

OpenSolaris is, rather confusingly now, two things.
There's the OpenSolaris source base, which is used to
   produce various OpenSolaris distributions.
There's Sun's distribution created as part of the
Indiana project, which is now also called OpenSolaris.

As if the whole Nevada/Indiana/SXDE/SXCE thing wasn't already
complicated enough.

So I second your request - I'd be interested about patching in the new
OpenSolaris 2008.05 release now, too. I haven't heard anything about
patch formats, tools, etc.

Martin.
