We invite submissions for the international workshop “Quotation Practices in News Media across Time, Formats, and Cultures”, which will take place on 6–7 November 2025 at the University of Innsbruck, Austria.

The workshop brings together researchers from linguistics, media and communication studies, and related disciplines to explore quotation practices in news media from a diachronic and cross-cultural perspective.

Abstracts (max. 300 words, in English) should be submitted by 30 June 2025 to lucia.assenzi at uibk.ac.at and daniel.pfurtscheller at uibk.ac.at. The workshop language is English.
