*ICLaVE|12 Vienna, July 8–11, 2024: Call for Papers, Posters &
Multimedia Presentations*
The 12^th International Conference on Language Variation in Europe
(ICLaVE|12), Vienna, July 2024, welcomes submissions for individual
paper, poster and multimedia presentations.
*Start of paper, poster and multimedia submission: 1 June 2023 **
**End of submission: 1 November 2023*
Scholars working on language variation and change, in areas such as
sociolinguistics, dialectology, historical linguistics, sociology of
language, psycholinguistics and language psychology are invited to
submit their proposals on any relevant aspect of variation in language
use and/or the linguistic system.
Individual papers will be 20 minutes each, followed by a 10-minute
discussion. Posters and multimedia presentations will be staged in
dedicated sessions. Abstracts should not exceed 500 words, excluding
title and references. Deadline for abstract submission is 1 November
2023. Authors of individual papers, posters and multimedia presentations
will receive a notification of acceptance by 31 December 2023.
