[pca] How are you patching S10 Branded Zones in S11.1 with PCA?

Hi, I've been following this list for many years and know
there's a lot of collected wisdom here, but don't recall
discussion on patching Solaris 10 Branded Zones within
Solaris 11.1 using PCA.  As you've clearly sussed it, I'd
be grateful for tips.  some patches will obviously fail.
So how are you sifting the wheat from the chaff?
