Hey Little bit o help,
I download the patches to a central location on a NFS share and then install from that mount point to all of the clients.
PCA will check to see if the required patches are currently available in the mount point, if not the patches would be downloaded.
to download all of the patches and a fresh patchdiag.xref:
/usr/local/bin/pca --download \
--patchdir=/some/nfs/mount/point \
--askauth
then to install them on your system(s):
- I manually copy the patchdiag.xref to the target system(s).
/usr/local/bin/pca --install \
--patchdir=/some/nfs/mount/point \
--nocheckxref
Thanks,
Bill

Subject: [pca] Download all patches
Is there a way to go through the patchdiag.xref and download all missing patches. I know I can go to a client and download local copies, but I would like to periodically do this on the proxy servers. I tried pca --download but this seems to be a one off for each client it is run on. Thanks.
