I've made some progress so I thought I would provide and update before the "After March 31st we will begin the process of consolidating your subscription preferences under an Oracle Profile" process begins and they discard my preferences yet again.
By using "Page Tools" in the dark gray panel on the right side of some SunSolve web pages I subscribed to the following article and collections:
ALERT WEEKLY SUMMARY REPORT
BUG collection
PATCH collection
PATCHRPTS collection
PROBLEMRESOLUTION collection
SUNALERTORACLE collection
TECHNICALINSTRUCTION collection
TROUBLESHOOTINGORACLE collection
I received two emails this week (Tuesday and Wednesday) with subject "SunSolve Online Notification of Updated Document". Each contained a link to: http://sunsolve.sun.com/search/document.do?assetkey=1-66-275470-1. They both are to the same email address and I don't see a changes between Tuesday and Wednesday to the web page, so don't know why two emails.
Also, this week I received a single daily email with the subject "SunSolve Online Notification of New Documents" containing numbered lists of new bugs, patches and on Wednesday three technical instruction documents. These look like the old "New Documents" email from before the previous round of SunSolve changes. In the past these have been very useful to me.
have a good day,
