Excellent - I didn't know that. I've now replaced my self-compiled version of
wget on my Solaris 8 test machine with:

   # cd /.../Solaris-9-905/Solaris_9/Product/
   # pkgadd -d . SUNWwgetr SUNWwgetu (ignore comment about SUNWgcmn)
   # pca -i 125326-02
   # /usr/sfw/bin/wget --help | grep HTTPS

The last command is used to check for HTTPS support. Using "ldd
/usr/sfw/bin/wget" is not a valid test in all situations, BTW, as the wget
binary supplied with Solaris 9 is linked statically against OpenSSL.

Martin.
