Yes, that link has the current file. It's not the link used by pca,
though, which looks at:
http[s]://sunsolve.sun.com/patchdiag.xref
There is one big difference between these URLs - one works with HTTP and
HTTPS, while the "pdownload.do" link redirects to getupdates2/akamai and
only works with an HTTPS enabled version of wget.
Back in August when patch downloads were moved to Akamai I asked whether
the xref file would stay on sunsolve.sun.com - which you confirmed.
So is it just a temporary problem that the version on the old link
hasn't been updated, or will the current version of the xref file only
be available via akamai from now on? This would force me to change to
URL in pca, and all users who are using pca for analysis only (ie. no
patch downloads) would suddenly have to make sure that they have an
SSL-enabled version of wget to download the xref file via pca.
Martin.
