I don't have an xref file specifically for March 31, 2009, but do have one for March 24 and another for April 13, 2009.
Asif, I'll send them to you via email.

Hi,
How do I tell pca to install a older revision?
Glenn already answered that.
I cannot get some of the latest solaris 8 patches even with our

You would need to buy Solaris 8 Vintage Patch Service for patches newer than April 1st, 2009:

If you still patch old Solaris 8 systems, it might be a good idea to get hold of a copy of the patchdiag.xref file from March 31st, 2009, and use that with pca's "--xrefdir" and "--nocheckxref" options. Like that, you'll get the most recent patch state with free patches only.
I am not sure how I can get the older patchdiag.xref . I rather do that then buying the vintage patch service. After all I am
working to upgrade them all to sol 10
Thanks
Martin.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
