So there is no way to install all the patches in one bang after I
download em? Sort of like a patch bundle? Or do I have to use pca -i
and download and install em if i want to apply multiple patches at
once?
I am concerned about pca -i choking while trying to download patches.
I have been seeing emails from the list about sunsolve changes and
things effecting downloads so I am hesitant on a production box. Would
rather download em ahead of time and install em in one command like
..pca -i pathchdir. But not sure it is possible.

The EMC thing is just me worrying about configuration files.. I will
have backups prior to patching. I should not have thrown that in the
post.

Ahh Allen you have read my mind : )  These are actually the required
patches needed for liveupgrade functionality. Once I have these
patches installed I will definitely take advantage of the liveupgrade
functionality to go to the latest Solaris version and switch to ZFS
root. Currently I am running u2 or update 2 so this is part of the
push to get the box to that point.
