True. If one is installing the patches in single user mode, then all drivers
and modules will be unloaded and we need not worry about it getting
corrupted.

Yes, SUN will support patching mishaps (kernel patch) that occur only in
single user mode.

Even if you are using PCA to install the patches in single user mode, it
will exit (only for certain patches) if a reboot is required.
