[pca] Freezing on a date

Generator Microsoft Word 11 (filtered medium) All,

I am using a local pca proxy and it is working great so far. My next question is how do I " freeze" patches on a certain date. For example, I want to freeze all updates to July 24th. How would I go about doing this? I guess which would be a better option for freezing

pca --minage=DAYS (always making sure to calculate from the day I' m running pca)
pca --stop=ID (using this one to figure out what the last patch was on the date)
pca --nocheckxref (and making sure I have the xref file from the date I want to freeze on?)

So I' m curious how others are doing it to maintain a baseline patch level.
