[pca] disappearing java patches??!!

Not as of now. Maybe you can just get used to run "pca -di" instead of 
"pca -i".

As you seem to patch multiple machines and already try to maintain some 
global patch repository, I definitely recommend thinking about setting 
up a local patch server. Read up on pca-proxy.cgi in pca's docs. If you 
have the chance to set up a local caching proxy, you won't have to think 
about this again; patches will be downloaded only once from SunSolve and 
be kept in a local storage, accessible by all local machines.
