/Holomorphic functions are of fundamental interest in the field of several/

/complex variables. A way to construct them, with possibly predescribed/

/properties, is by solving the inhomogeneous Cauchy-Riemann (dbar)/

/differential equations --- holomorphic functions are solutions to the/

/homogeneous equations./

/This partial differential equations approach to the problem of 
constructing/

/holomorphic functions leads to considering a certain complex of Hilbert/

/spaces, the so-called dbar-complex. The twisted dbar-complex is a 
particular/

/kind of perturbation of the dbar-complex, and analyzing the twisted 
dbarcomplex/

/is a fruitful course of action to obtain information about the/

/unperturbed complex./

/My research is centered around the questions (1) what perturbation factors/

/yield useful estimates for the dbar-complex, and (2) under what 
(geometric)/

/conditions do such factors exist./

/In this talk, I will give a short and rough introduction to the twisted 
dbarcomplex/

/and present some results addressing (1) and (2) in particular cases./
