*„New Concepts in Frame Theory Motivated ny Acoustical Applications“*

**

*Abstract: *

Application-oriented mathematics develops theoretical results and new 
mathematical concepts, motivated by application. The 
application-oriented approach produces results signicant both for 
mathematics and the applied sciences.
In this talk we will present an overview of new concepts in frame theory 
motivated by signal processing and acoustical applications.
We will present new concepts in general frame theory, time-frequency 
analysis and the theory of frame multipliers, as well a giving a short  
presentation of applications in acoustics.**
