im Rahmen der Habilitation von Dr. Christof Sparber (University of 
Cambridge, United Kingdom)*

*„On nonlinear Schrödinger equations modeling collective quantom dynamics“*

*Abstract:** We review several recent results obtained in the analysis of nonlinear dispersive partial differential equations, arising in the description of collective quantum dynamics. We shall first motivate the study of such PDEs by considering the mean-field limit of many-body quantum mechanics. Then, several analytical results concerning the local and global well-posedness of the considered models will be shown. We shall also consider several multi-scale asymptotic regimes within such systems. Typical applications include the description of Bose-Einstein condensates and semiconductor modeling.*
