Researchers use it to build multiplayer games, markets, bargaining tasks, surveys, and quizzes that participants complete in a web browser on any device. The same experiment can be run in the lab, in the field, or online through platforms such as Prolific, and oTree Studio offers a browser-based way to design experiments with less coding.
