Einen weiteren Schwerpunkt bilden die frühen erotischen Handbücher, welche nur durch die japanischen Übersetzungen bekannt waren, bis sie durch rezente Funde aus der Han-Zeit in Mawangdui belegt wurden. Daran schließen die mit den Handbüchern eng verwobenen Positionen des Daoismus, wobei die Entwicklung aus gleichberechtigten Beziehungen bis zum männlichen Sexualvampirismus aufgezeigt wird. Ein letzter Punkt ist die in der Tang-Dynastie entstehende Kurtisanen-Kultur bis hin zu Sai Jinhua, der angeblichen Konkubine des Grafen Waldersee nach Unterdrückung des Boxeraufstandes.</span></p>

<p style="margin-bottom:0cm; margin-bottom:.0001pt; text-align:justify; text-justify:inter-ideograph" class="bodytext"><span lang="DE-AT">Der zweite Teil befasst sich mit der Erotik der „Goldenen Lilien“, dem Füße Binden, mit der Thematik des „Abgeschnittenen Ärmels“ und der „Duftenden Gefährtin“, d.h. mit der Homosexualität, mit Sex in den Klöstern, der Erotik in der chinesischen Literatur, welche von der Unterwerfung der Frau bis zu ihrer Erhöhung etwa im Traum der Roten Kammer und von Andeutungen im Päonien Pavillon bis zur Pornographie der „Fleischlichen Matte“ reicht. Die Rolle der Konkubinen und Eunuchen am Kaiserhof wird ebenso beleuchtet wie das Spannungsfeld zwischen Prüderie und Sinnenlust, wie es aus den Gegensätzen von Konfuzianern wie Zhu Xi (Song-Dyn.) und Wang Yangming (Ming-Dyn.) verdeutlicht wird.</span></p>

<p style="line-height:14.25pt; background:#FCFCFC" class="bodytext"><span lang="DE-AT">Das Hulusi ist ein ungewöhnliches Blasinstrument, welches vor allem von den Minderheiten in Yunnan geschätzt wird. Seit mehr als zweitausend Jahren wird auf dem Hulusi Musik gemacht.</span></p>

<p class="bodytext"><span lang="DE-AT">Der internationale Sprachenwettbewerb für Chinesisch „Chinese Bridge“ wird seit dem Jahr 2002 von Hanban veranstaltet und bietet an der chinesischen Sprache Interessierten aus aller Welt die Chance zusammenzukommen und ihre Chinesisch-Fähigkeiten auf einer internationalen Bühne unter Beweis zu stellen. Über Tausend Chinesisch-Begeisterte aus über 80 Ländern wurden bereits eingeladen, um in China am Wettbewerb teilzunehmen. Jährlich nehmen mehr als 300.000 Personen aus aller Welt an der Vorrunde teil. </span>
