Zum Anderen sollen aktuelle innovative Forschungsergebnisse in der Region China und Taiwan diskutiert werden. Hierbei wird das Augenmerk auf die multikulturelle Zusammensetzung der Gesellschaften gelegt, wie etwa die Interaktion zwischen Han-Chinesen und Minderheiten, im Besonderen indigene Gruppen.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Der Workshop bietet den Teilnehmern einen differenzierten Ansatz für das Entwickeln von kultureller Sensibilisierung bei der Anwendung von qualitativer wie quantitativer Forschungsmethoden im regionalen Feld. Für einen interaktiven Ablauf des Workshops motivieren die Koordinatorinnen vor allem StudentInnen, AkademikerInnen und Interessierte, welche bereits Erfahrungen und Ergebnisse aus ihren Forschungsprojekten mitbringen oder kurz vor der Feldforschung stehen. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Die Gestaltung des Workshops beinhaltet audiovisuelle Forschungstagebücher und Informationen zur Region und ethnischen Gruppen in China und Taiwan. Zur aktiven Partizipation der Vortragenden und Teilnehmer werden von den Koordinatorinnen verschiedene Ideen umgesetzt, wie Rollenspiele und praktische Übungen in Gruppen zu Forschungsmethoden. Die Improvisation eines Forschungsfeldes vermittelt wichtige Erfahrungen und die aktive Auseinandersetzung mit angewandter Anthropologie, der Entwicklung von Softskills und der interkulturellen Kommunikation. Dies beinhaltet den Gewinn von wertvollem Wissen für eine weitere akademische und berufliche Laufbahn. Im Weiteren werden Studierende und AkademikerInnen eingeladen, ihre Forschungen zur Region und/oder zur Thematik in Form einer Präsentation vorzustellen. Die Präsentationen werden von den Vortragenden unter der Supervision der Organisatorinnen aktiv in oben genannten Übungen umgesetzt und gestalten so den Workshop mit. Die Vortragenden werden im Zuge des Call for Papers von den Koordinatorinnen ausgewählt. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Das Ziel des Workshops ist es, die theoretischen Grundlagen in praktische Erfahrung einzubetten, sie zu diskutieren und kritisch aufzuarbeiten. Die interdisziplinäre Dimension des Workshops ist ein Schwerpunkt und zeichnet sich durch die Mitwirkung verschiedener Disziplinen und Zugänge aus unterschiedlichen Blickwinkeln auf Minderheiten- beziehungsweise Indigenenforschung aus.
