Funktionsweise eines Rastersondenmikroskops erklärt.
Anschließend wird mit einem funktionsfähigen
Demonstrationsgerät die Aufnahme von Bildern einer
Metalloberfläche mit atomarer Auflösung gezeigt. Einige
aktuelle Bilder zeigen Anwendungen derartiger Geräte in der
Oberflächenforschung. <o:p></o:p></p>
