The aim of this workshop is to bring
together researchers that are interested in the history of
speech communication research. A special focus of the workshop
will lie on the interdisciplinary nature of speech communication
research (SCR), especially on the relation between science and
technology that can be exemplified through the history of SCR.
We are also interested in methods of speech communication
research (SCR) from the 20th century, which are no longer the
state-of-the-art but of historic relevance.
