<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">To date, the traditional left-wing and progressive parties have not been able to prevent losing large parts of their electorate to the radical right. Right-wing populist parties seem to
be caught in a dilemma: on the one hand, in the attempt of reinstalling a politics of the past, i.e. a nostalgic anachronism; on the other, promising radical change – without clear programs. A panel should explore the reasons for these developments.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
