Dear colleagues,

we would like to remind you about the call for abstracts for our
workshop "Current Issues in Syntax, Semantics, and Pragmatics", which
will take place as part of the ÖLT 2026 (50th Austrian Linguistics
Conference) November 20-21 in Salzburg, Austria.

*NOTE: The submission deadline has been extended to SEPTEMBER 17, 2026*

This workshop aims to create opportunities for linguists to discuss
their original, unpublished work related to any of the fields mentioned
in the workshop title as well as at the interfaces. In addition to the
workshop's general session (which does not specify any thematic
restrictions beyond those just mentioned), this year's workshop will
host a special session on phenomena related to 'Redundancy and
Deficiency' in the context of the Sonderforschungsbereich (SFB) of the
(almost) same name. Both sessions are open for submissions until
Thursday this week!

For more information on abstract submission guidelines, please see the
call for abstracts:
https://linguistlist.org/issues/37/2677/
(The call has not been updated yet, which is why it still mentions the
old deadline)

We look forward to seeing you in Salzburg in November!
Best,
Madeleine Butschety and Melanie Loitzl
