please allow me to share with you the extended deadline to this year’s edition of the student workshop BerlinBrnoVienna.

Dear colleagues and students,

We are happy to announce that this year the student workshop BerlinBrnoVienna is going to take place for the 4th time in Brno (Czech Republic). The goal of this workshop is to bring together students at all academic levels (BA, MA, PhD) and early-career linguists from all sub-fields of theoretical linguistics (semantics, pragmatics, syntax, morphology, phonology, phonetics) to present and discuss their work in a kind, friendly and supportive environment.

We would be grateful if you could share this information with students, colleagues or friends who might be interested in participating.

Notification of Format (Squib or Presentation): May 29, 2026

We welcome contributions across theoretical linguistics and accept submissions for a 20+10 talk (20-minute talk, followed by a 10-minute discussion) or a 10+5 squib presentation (10-minute talk and a subsequent 5-minute discussion). Please indicate in the comment section if you prefer a 10+5 min presentation or a 20+10 minute presentation, we will try to accommodate your wish.
