Dear all,

This is a reminder that the deadline for submitting abstracts for the DM
meets Nano workshop is approaching! (February 15)

This year the workshop focuses on recent developments in the nominal and
verbal domain addressed from the perspective of either DM or Nano, and/or
ideally from a comparative perspective. It will be held on 15-16 July 2025
at the Department of Romance Studies at the University of Vienna.

The workshop will feature talks by the following speakers:

*	Jonathan Bobaljik
<https://linguistics.fas.harvard.edu/people/jonathan-bobaljik>  (Harvard
University)
*	Pavel Caha <https://www.muni.cz/en/people/53172-pavel-caha>
(Masaryk University)
*	Antonio Fábregas
<https://sites.google.com/view/antoniofabregas/home>  (NTNU Trondheim)
*	Natascha Pomino
<https://www.romanistik.uni-wuppertal.de/de/fachteile/sprachwissenschaft/per
sonal/prof-dr-natascha-pomino/>  (Bergische Universität Wuppertal)

We welcome contributions for 30 minute talks, each followed by a 10 minute
discussion session. As this workshop seeks to foster dialogue and
collaboration between researchers working in Distributed Morphology and
Nanosyntax, we especially welcome submissions that engage with one or more
of the following topics:

- Curious cases of syncretism
- Suppletion and contextual allomorphy
- *ABA-patterns
- The relevance of zero in DM and Nanosyntax
- Structural gaps (e.g. (pro)nouns, TAM, gender
)
- Perspectives on the different predictions made by DM and Nanosyntax
- Phenomena at the interfaces with semantics and/or phonology

Abstracts should be anonymised and limited to two single-spaced A4-pages
(including references and examples) with one-inch margins, and a minimum
font size 12pt. sent in PDF format by February 15, 2025, 23:59 CET, to
<mailto:dmmeetsnano at gmail.com> dmmeetsnano at gmail.com. Participants may
submit up to two abstracts with a maximum of one single-authored paper.

Follow the updates on our website: https://dmmeetsnano.univie.ac.at/

We look forward to seeing you in Vienna!
