Hi Dennis,<br>
<br>
I've taken a quick look at patch 120744-02.<br>
<br>
It's an interesting case.<br>
<br>
It's currently not classified as a Solaris patch, but rather as a
JavaES patch. JavaES patches require SW/Software patch entitlement,
which is obtained via a <a
href="http://www.oracle.com/us/support/software/index.html"
target="_blank">Premier Support for Software</a> support contract.
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://support.oracle.com/CSP/main/article?cmd=show&type=NOT&id=1269292.1">https://support.oracle.com/CSP/main/article?cmd=show&type=NOT&id=1269292.1</a>
explains how patch entitlement works).<br>
This probably explains why you cannot download this patch.<br>
<br>
So, onto the more interesting question - should you be able to
download this patch.<br>
The answer here is yes.<br>
<br>
Patch 120744-02 patches a set of pkgs that were delivered in Solaris
10 up to and including Solaris 10 Update 3.<br>
Thereafter the pkgs that 120744-02 delivers got updated in the
Solaris image.<br>
<br>
eg.:<br>
<pre>SUNWcmcon:
SUNWcmcon in 120744-02: VERSION=2.2,REV=2004.09.23.12.44.08
SUNWcmcon in Solaris:

</pre>
Bottom line is that patch 120744-02 should have OS/Operating System
patch entitlement.<br>
<br>
I'll follow up internally to make this happen, but it will take at
least 48 hours to sort out.<br>
<br>
Sorry for the inconvenience (I know these things take time to debug)
and thanks for bringing this to our attention.<br>
<br>
Best,<br>

<pre wrap="">Were you able to download it from the MOS site after searching? It shows up on my search as well but when I select the patch is says I am without privilege... The patch is classified as a JES patch and not a Solaris patch. It's probably going to take opening a case with the Big-O to get it resolved...

yeah man ... you can say that, however things are looking up.

Exactly. Yes. Both of those.
However only minutes ago I logged into MOS and can see everything
again. For weeks I saw some stuff about support ids and such and
was able to download only basic patches however now I am back to
full software, OS and firmware as I should be.
Looks like the new MOS has a few kinks yet.
I just did a quick search for 120744-02 and ( see pic attached ) lo
and behold, no problem, there it is.
However PCA still says "no way, you can't have it" :
