Hi,

Thanks for the explanation Don, that makes sense.

I got some problem with my FC disks both internal and external that
is not related to the disk itself but the FCAL.
I thought upgrading the firmware to the latest level could solve my
disk problem, hence the need for these patches.

To me it's really not a problem as I downloaded them from MOS, but
maybe PCA needs a tweak.
As Don describes, it is old patches and tweaking PCA might not be
worth the effort.
Hi,

This patch is an old patch that was never released in .zip format.

This is the reason for the fail.

If you have the correct entitlements you can download either the
.tar.Z
format of the patch using URL:
https://getupdates.oracle.com/all_unsigned/109962-14.tar.Z
or
the .jar format using:
https://getupdates.oracle.com/all_signed/109962-14.jar

(Note: Use unzip to unpack the .jar file...)

Best,

Got this when downloading this firmware patch.
I downloaded it using MOS without any problem, could there be a pca problem?.

I can't check that, as I don't have a support contract which includes access to firmware patches right now. So I get "Error 403: You are not entitled to retrieve this content" on both of these patches.
Maybe somebody else with FMW support level could try to download both 109962 and 111853 and report whether the same effect is seen?
Martin.
