[pca] Date issue

I can confirm, we have the same problem on Solaris 10.

It works on Solaris 11 with newer perl version

-bash-5.1$ perl -v

This is perl 5, version 32, subversion 0 (v5.32.0) built for 
sun4-solaris-thread-multi-64
