Dr. Tom, many thanks. Not paying attention, I hadn't noticed that a
package stopped working on S10 following some update.

Double-checking old emails, I saw refs to Doc ID 2187794.1
SunOS 4.x Binaries Fail to Run in Solaris 10 Branded Zones on
Solaris 11.3.1.5.0 Through 11.3.12.4.0.

The second of these dependencies had vanished from the Global Zone:

*  pkg:/compatibility/ucb
*  pkg://solaris/system/compatibility/sunos4

# pkg install pkg://solaris/system/compatibility/sunos4
No updates necessary for this image.
Planning linked: 0/4 done; 1 working: zone:xxxxxx
Linked progress: -pkg: install failed (linked image exception(s)):

A 'sync-linked' operation failed for child 'zone:xxxxxx' with an
unexpected return value of 1 and generated the following output:
pkg: 2/3 catalogs successfully updated:

https protocol error: code: 401 reason: Unauthorized
URL: 'https://pkg.oracle.com/solarisstudio/support/versions/0/'
Additional Details:

This account is not entitled to access this repository. Ensure that the
correct certificate is being used and that the support contract for the
product being accessed is still valid.

OT: 401 in the GZ on the Premier which is paid-up and for which the
key and cert are OK. At least, a pkgrecv of the support repo down to the
local depot server on a native S11 zone was in progress (now re-started).
As that's using the same key, cert and contract, the 401 is puzzling.
