[pca] pca versus installpatchset strange error

hello all,

i have a T2000, S10u8, with zones (16 configured, 5 running). I'm trying 
to install CPU with installpatchset and got error:
fury-root% ./installpatchset -B Octobre12_patches --s10patchset
ERROR: Failed to determine zone configuration for target boot environment.
        Please verify configuration with zoneadm(1M).

with pca, it passes:
fury-root% /etc/scripts/pca -R /.alt.Octobre12_patches --minimal 
--install missingr
Using /var/tmp/patchdiag.xref from Oct/15/13
Host: fury (SunOS 5.10/Generic_142900-01/sparc/sun4v)
Root: /.alt.Octobre12_patches
List: missingr-minimal (174/108494)
...

anybody has ever seen this error? i trust in pca, but i'd prefer to 
understand what is happening.
