[pca] is there a general mail list related to Solaris admin etc ?

Glad you found a fix for your problem. I was going to add +1 for
www.sunmanagers.org. 20 years ago this was the go-to place for sun
information with over 10,000 subscribers. Just had a look at the web page,
the FAQ looks like not much has changed in about 15 years, eg talks a lot
about early solaris 2 issues, and the archives show about 10 messages per
month. It used to be 40-50 *per day*, so perhaps it is not the best place
any more.

There is a lot of information scattered around, so perhaps google is your
friend?

Or like me, people are moving away form Solaris and using various flavours
of Linux. I don't think any of us would go to HPUX, AIX, etc by choice
after using Solaris :)
