Hi Daniel

You can do this already. Direct the syslog to a spare syslog facility 
setting, then in /etc/syslog.conf direct this to your preferred log file.

On my systems in pca.conf I have

syslog=local6.notice

and in /etc/syslog.conf (you must use tabs not spaces here)

# PCA
local6.debug                                    /var/log/patchlog
