[pca] SunRay (x86) patches don't show if not installed

I'm probably doing something wrong but ...
I've got a newly installed x4150 (machine switched from Windows Server to
Solaris 10) with Solaris 10 Update 9:
Oracle Solaris 10 9/10 s10x_u9wos_14a X86
It was fully patched including Studio compliers using pca. I then installed
SunRay 5 which seems to be 4.2 with updates and a "connector". It turns out
that there are patches for it but they didn't show up in pca. Also, it appears
that pca can't download the current ones from Oracle (they don't seem to be
there) although I should be OK to get them according to my support level.
I ended up downloading the whole SunRay Software 5.1.2 from MOS.
Running the installer for that patched the install to include 140994-07 and
145213-02.
Running pca afterwards gives the interesting result:
[x4150 : /export/x4150/patch : 14 ] ./pca -l 140994 145213
Using /var/tmp/patchdiag.xref from Mar/23/11
Host: x4150 (SunOS 5.10/Generic_144489-10/i386/i86pc)
List: 140994 145213 (2/14881)

I guess I could use some pointers or does PCA not work with SunRay due to the way Oracle
does patches for it? It looks to me like the current cross reference file doesn't have appropriate
info for SunRay on x86 Solaris 10?
Thanks,
Stuart
