[pca] pca patch recursion

Hello,

Before I go off and re-invent the wheel, I thought I might pose a question
to the kind folks on this forum.

Does anybody know of a way to make pca recurse and look to see if a patch
which has obsoleted the listed patch is installed on the system?

Example:

# pca -l 118816

118816 -- < 04 --- 999 Obsoleted by: 127885-01 SunOS 5.10_x86:
/usr/xpg4/bin/awk
 patch

#

Does pca have a way to natively recurse and check to see if 127885-01 is
installed on the system?
