[pca] pca ignoring .pca file??

Martin,

It seems like pca is ignoring/missing the .pca file in my home
directory.  Observe:

Whoa!!!!  I have specifically told pca to avoid VERITAS patches
in my .pca file, yet it wants to install one:

# cat .pca

pattern=!VERITAS

The fact that pca asks for my Account User is also another clue that it
missed my .pca file.  What went wrong?
