[pca] Fun with entitlement again

Hi,

There are a couple of points to bear in mind here...

There is essentially Hardware Support (now provided by Oracle Premium
System Plans and by Warranty) and Software Support (now provided by
Oracle Premium Software Plan & Oracle Premium Operating System Plan).
Hardware support will provide access to Hardware patches, such as
Firmware updates and drivers, along with other hardware-related products
such as LDOMs and SunVTS, for example.
So, hardware support is essentially bare metal support.

On top of this there is Software Support, which as the name suggests,
provides access to the various types of Software (in our case Solaris
Software & other non-Solaris Software), depending on the specific
contract you purchase.

In both cases you must have a support contract for each system that you
want to support, so if you have 20 machines in your environment running
Solaris, you must have a contract for all 20 if you want to have them
all supported.
This is not a new rule and has always been applicable to Software and
Hardware support offerings from Sun. This is also the reason that you
supply a serial number when purchasing Solaris support (as you are
essentially purchasing Solaris support for that system).

HTH,
-Don
