Good point. With sudo and RBAC it's not a safe assumption that UID==0 is 
a requirement to install patches with "patchadd".

I chose a different approach: There is a new option "--norootchk" which 
simply skips the UID check when --install (or --safe) is used. If you 
really want to check for a specific UID, this is better done in your 
wrapper script.

The new option is already available in the current development version 
of pca, which you can get from:
