[pca] Exclude patches for old software?

Hi,

I'm investigating the requirements for setup of an hierarchy of pca-proxies.
If I download the full patch-archive (total), it requires ~65GB diskspace.
I would like to only download patches for the OS:es we are using.

Can someone give me the instructions how to exclude patches for old 
software,
e.g. patches for PC-NFS and SunOS before 5.8?
