Has anyone seen issues with installing the patch 115545-04 on Solaris 9
systems?
After installing the patch on Solaris 9 systems we get the following error
during an init 0.
ld.so.1: uadmin: fatal: relocation error: file /etc/lib/nss_files.so.1:
symbol __nsl_fopen: referenced symbol not found
The only fix we have so far is to power off system and back out the patch
115545-04. This patch was released by SUN on 1/29/09 and is currently
still in a released status.
We have seen this error on every single 9 box we have installed the patch
on.
We only use PCA at this point but probably will try smpatch this weekend
on a single 9 box to see if it happens there. Also I plan on
opening a SUN case once I verify the issue happens during install of
patch's using smpatch as well.
Thanks
