[pca] Problems with UTF patch on minimized system

Hello list,

I see problems with the UTF-Patch
121734 07 < 08 ---  11 SunOS 5.10: patch to support addition of new  
UTF-8 locales
121735 07 < 08 ---  11 SunOS 5.10_x86: patch to support addition of  
new UTF-8 locales

It does not install, because it missed some patches for not installed  
packages.

(same problem on sparc and x86 architecture)

Installing the missing packages SUNWlccom, SUNWeudlg, SUNWuxlcf and  
SUNWeuluf makes the problem even worser, much more packages are then  
missed:-(

The reason is package SUNWuiu8, which I installed some weeks ago,  
after application of a sshd patch, which installed fine but after that  
there where much of warnings like:
invalid UTF-8 sequence: Cannot convert UTF-8 strings to the local  
codeset
on calling ssh or scp on the patched machine. These warnings had  
vanished after installing SUNWuiu8.

Is this a special problem with the UTF-patch? I did think, that a  
patch installs fine even with missing other packages.

Thanks for any hints to solve this. I run minimized systems (about 200  
packages on solaris10 with about 440MByte for the whole system) for  
some years now without serious problems until now.
