Thanks Dago.

LU doesn't work in our environment due to the restrictions around the
boot disk.
We use Veritas Volume Manger which uses a spot on the disk that LU
wants, IIRC.

I would use Live Upgrade for this if you have enough space.
It shortens patch installations to one reboot but needs
a little to setup. But IMHO it pays off to use Live Upgrade,
at least when you patch regularly.
