No, which is just one of the problems with Sun stuffing application 
patches into the kernel patch. Another is the inability to backout e.g. 
just the sendmail fixes if you don't want them (buggy patches are 
nothing new).

If it's really the fear of clobbering locally modified files (and if 
using sendmail in production you will most likely have modified at least 
sendmail.cf), take a look at pca's --safe option. It will not install a 
patch if it would overwrite locally modified files.
