<div style="line-height: 24px;" class=""><span style="font-size: 16px;" class="">Seit 2011 beschäftigt sich die Stuttgarter Geschichte im Verbund mit der Bauphysik/Akustik, Bauforschung, Visualisierung und Rhetorik mit öffentlichen „Reden ohne Mikrophon“ in
verschiedenen historischen Epochen und Kulturen. In der Alten Geschichte wurde daraus ein Forschungsgebiet konzipiert – die historische Oratorik. Mit dieser Konzeption soll jenseits der klassischen Rhetorikgeschichte der Blick verstärkt auf den situativen,
d.h. auf den anlass- und ortsgebundenen Kontext gerichtet werden. Sie geht über die Frage nach der rhetorisch-persuasiven Funktion hinaus und nimmt vor allem die akustische Dimension öffentlicher Redesituationen in ihren jeweiligen baulichen Zusammenhang
in den Blick, berücksichtigt aber ebenso die damit verbundenen pragmatischen, zeremoniellen, rituellen und performativen Aspekte.<br class="">
<br class="">
Neben der Erläuterung des Forschungsfelds soll im Vortrag die Zielsetzung und das Programm des aktuellen Stuttgarter DFG-Projekts („Redner, Raum und Auditorium in der griechischen Antike. Oratorische Praxis und politische Entscheidungsfindung in ihrem baulichen
und akustischen Kontext“) skizziert und schließlich am Beispiel des Bouleuterion in Athen und im lykischen Patara die digitale bauhistorische Rekonstruktion der Gebäude und die darauf basierenden akustischen Simulationen vorgestellt werden.</span></div>
