</span></b><span style="font-family:'arial' , sans-serif"><br>

</span>The University of Graz invites applications for <b>up to 5 positions for Doctoral Students

</b>(30 h/week) for PhD-projects in the fields of <b>Ancient History, Classical Philology, Classical Archaeology, Religious Studies, Sociology, and Theology

within the framework of the International Graduate School (IGS) “Resonant Self–World Relations in Ancient and Modern Socio-Religious Practices” directed by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Spickermann and Prof. Dr. Irmtraud Fischer (Graz) and Prof. Dr.

 Jörg Rüpke and Prof. Dr. Hartmut Rosa (Erfurt). <br>

The positions start on 1 October 2021 (24 + 12 months, pending review). <br>

The project is a cooperation between the<b> Max-Weber-Kolleg</b> at the University of Erfurt and the

<b>University of Graz</b>. Participants are required to spend their second year at the cooperating university.<span style="font-family:'franklin gothic book' , sans-serif"><br>

</span>As an International Research Training Group, the programme’s primary language is English.<br>
