<p><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">das Doktoratsprogramm des Departements Altertumswissenschaften der Universität Basel hat ein einjähriges Startstipendium für Doktorierende ausgeschrieben, die am Anfang ihrer Karriere stehen.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Das Doktoratsprogramm Altertumswissenschaften der Universität Basel schreibt ein einjähriges Startstipendium à CHF 30'000 aus (in zwei Tranchen mit Evaluation). Der Antritt des Stipendiums erfolgt
zum <b>01.10.2021</b></span></p>
<p><b><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Ihre Aufgaben</span></b><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif"><br>
Die Stipendien dienen der Unterstützung während der Startphase des Doktorats. Im ersten halben Jahr müssen die StipendiatInnen einen Förderantrag ausarbeiten, um sich beim Schweizerischen Nationalfonds oder einer anderen Förderinstitution für die Weiterfinanzierung
ihres Promotionsprojektes zu bewerben.</span></p>
<p><b><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Ihr Profil</span></b><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif"><br>
Erwartet werden eine hohe Motivation sich im Rahmen des Doktoratsprogramms zu engagieren sowie die Immatrikulation an der Universität Basel. Das Stipendium richtet sich an Studierende, die über einen überdurchschnittlichen Masterabschluss in den Altertumswissenschaften
verfügen. Erwünscht ist ein Dissertationsvorhaben, das in den Forschungsschwerpunkten des Departements Altertumswissenschaften der Universität Basel verortet ist.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">The PhD program of the Department of Ancient Civilizations at the University of Basel announces a one-year scholarship starting at the
<b>01.10.2021</b> (à CHF 30'000; two tranches with evaluation).</span></p>
<p><b><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Your position</span></b><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif"><br>
The grant is intended to support a young graduate during the starting phase of his/her PhD research project. It is expected that he/she will develop his/her research project in that time for applying to the Swiss National Science Foundation or other funding
institutions at the end of that year.</span></p>

The scholarship is addressed to students who held a 1st class MA-degree either in Egyptology, Classical Archaeology, Ancient History, Greek Philology, Latin Philology or European Archaeology. It is expected that the PhD student is highly motivated and will
personally be involved in the PhD program of the Department of Ancient Civilizations at the University of Basel. Most welcomed are PhD projects that can be linked to the research fields of the Department of Ancient Civilizations at the University of Basel.</span></p>

<p><b><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">1 «bourse de démarrage» du programme doctoral des Sciences de l'Antiquité de l'Université de Bâle</span></b></p>
<p><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Dans le cadre du programme doctoral des Sciences de l'Antiquité de l'Université de Bâle, 1 "bourse de démarrage" d'une année est mise au concours. Dotée de CHF 30'000 (en deux tranches, avec évaluation),la
bourse prendra effet au 01.10.2021.<br>

Les bourses doivent servir à soutenir les doctorants et doctorantes durant la phase de début de thèse. Dans les premiers six mois les boursiers et boursières doivent déposer une demande de subvention auprès du Fonds National de Recherche Suisse ou d'une autre
institution de financement de la recherche.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">La bourse est destinée à des étudiants et étudiantes disposant d'un excellent diplôme de Master ou de Licence en Sciences de l'Antiquité. Le/la boursier/boursière est motivé(e) à s'engager dans
le cadre du programme doctoral. Le/la candidat(e) sera engagé(e) dans un projet de thèse qui se situe dans une des disciplines du Département des Sciences de l'Antiquité de l'Université de Bâle.</span></p>
