<p class="xmsonormal" style="margin-left:35.4pt"><span lang="DE" style="color:black">Mythische Erzählungen der Griechen sind bekannt und vielfach rezipiert, nicht zuletzt in der Kunst. Die Sagen von Herakles und den Argonauten, die Taten der Helden vor Theben
und Troja, die Irrfahrten des Odysseus werden deshalb immer wieder traktiert. Selbst wenn es gelegentlich zu – auch heißen – Debatten über ihre Historizität kommt (man denke an den Trojanischen Krieg), werden sie doch meistens als Mythen aus der historischen
Forschung ausgeblendet. In dem Vortrag soll demgegenüber gezeigt werden, dass sie doch einen Blick in die griechische Geschichte erlauben – und zwar aus der Perspektive der Griechen selber. Zu diesem Zweck werden wesentliche Strukturelemente dieser Mythen
auf die Erfahrungshorizonte ihrer Entstehungszeiten bezogen.</span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
