Freilichtbereich des Urgeschichtemuseums Asparn an der Zaya
in Niederösterreich werden seit dem Jahr 1970 Hausmodelle
der Stein-, Bronze- und Eisenzeit präsentiert, die auf der
Basis von archäologischen Grabungsbefunden im Maßstab 1:1 im
Sinne der Experimentellen Archäologie errichtet wurden. Im
Jahr 2013 findet im Urgeschichte-museum Asparn an der Zaya
auch ein wesentlicher Teil der Niederösterreichischen
Landes-ausstellung „Brot und Wein“ statt. Im Zuge der
Vorbereitung dieser großen Ausstellung wurde die
Arbeitsgruppe für Experimentelle Archäologie des VIAS
(Vienna Institute for Archaeological Science) - einer
interdisziplinären Forschungsplattform für Archäologie der
Universität Wien - mit der der Neugestaltung des
archäologischen Freilichtbereichs betraut. Im Zuge dieser
Arbeiten wurden fünf Gebäudemodelle unterschiedlicher
Zeit-stellungen neu errichtet und mehrere andere aus dem
Altbestand saniert, neu interpretiert und dem aktuellen
Forschungsstand folgend neu eingerichtet. </span><o:p></o:p></p>
