scholarly journal appearing
annually of high academic repute
published since 1986 by the
Institute for Ancient History and
Antiquities, Papyrology and
Epigraphy at the Vienna
University. The articles, composed
in the German, English, French and
Italian languages, are selected in
a peer review procedure.
Thematically they encompass the
entire field of antiquity, from
the beginnings of Greek history
through to the Late Classic
Period. Emphasis is placed on the
edition and interpretation of
epigraphic and papyrological
